Sounds Like : Some have said that my voice sounds a little like David Phelps. However, I have tried to create my own sound. Due to my classical voice training, my main goal while singing in a contemporary style is to make sure I lose the opera sound...

Hey Tim, another awesome production on "Stay Amazed" with those great "Tim" vocals. Excellent writing with a message that we don't hear too much but we all need to remember every day. So often we forget just how blessed we are, and we tend to get slack in our "amazement of Him". Another great job Tim.
Blessings to you bro,
Duane

Love the intro on "Better Days" Tim. It's a beautiful song that I can really relate to through what my wife has also been through in the past. We can always stand in Christ, no matter what comes against us. Praise God! Very majestic song and very well done. Thanks Tim.

Blessings,
Duane

WOW "America Repent"- That is very well done. Wonderful, the song and video rock. Patty +:)

Patty Cottington says:

I keep listening to "Give Me Words" on the head phones and I can feel the meaning so clearly, the desire to share the greatness of what is being learned each day, each moment, the so imprortant story of our Lord and how each of us can have his love and glory if we just ask. If the words aren't in text let the actions be appearant, Let us give someone else this wonderful message so that they too can know Jesus in their heart. . Give us the seed to plant and the fertilizer to make it grow and the blossom to show your glory. Show me Lord how to till the soil, sprout the the life and You shall provide the living water. Towards the end of the song
It's almost like I can see you standing in a forest singing this to God. And doing so with an open heart and uplifted hands. The urgent desire to share His Glory. So much from the heart. I will do my best to work on this one. It well be a challenge and I love a challenge. God Bless +:) Patty-And we saw Aaron Shust in concert, this is way different. I love it. Be strong and keep your family before your work , and in your heart when it can't be in person. But God gave you that family to love and as you say ignite a holy spark. God Bless +:)

Patty Cottington says:

I loved it Tim. I am glad I was able to log on. I am listeneing to Stay Amazaed right now. I try and close my eyes so I can hear and see your song. Stay amazed is picture after picture. I live in the Yosemite, CA area and that in its self is a daily amazement. The Soberity we have maintained for 14 years is amazing, the 28 years of marriage is amazing, having back fusion surgery with 4 screws and 2 rods and to still dance and sing and praise the Lord! That's amazing. Back to Give me words - It is wonderful and I can feel the heart and need to share in this song. This one is a little harder for me in regard to the pictures I have on my computer, more can always be put on :)When I get time to comwe back I would love to listen to the rest. God Bless you and all you love +:)

Hi tim,
Great to meet you on the forum by your intro. That’s a wonderful testimony about your song writing journey. Mine is similar. What a wonderful voice you have and I love the anthemic quality. Don’t worry about letting your classic influence take over. One thing I hate about commercial Christian music is the temptation to change one’s style…It takes a lot to “buck” the system, but your gift is pure, wonderful & inspiring. Don’t compromise your gift for anyone. I think you’re old enough to have paid your dues. You don’t owe Christian music or radio anything! Keep up the excellent work, my sweet, brother. I like the mysterious "vibe" on "This is God".

Michael Lummus says:

Tim,
Life on the road can be tough. The last thing you need to worry about is having the right marketing resources in hand. That's why we've recently made the decision to make available to you the same promotional resources we provide to major label acts every day.

Sonus is a full-service concert & event marketing agency. We work with major touring artists, their managers, agents, and concert promoters to produce the graphic design, radio & television spots, media campaigns, and printed materials they need to put people in the seats. Just this spring, we worked with artists such as Salvador, Jaci Velasquez, Aaron Shust, Shawn McDonald, Brandon Heath, Downhere and others. I used not take on clients unless they could sell several hundred tickets a night, but with the launch of our new marketing programs for independent artists, we're now able to provide some of those same resources to artists in all phases of their professional careers.

I’ve looked around your Indieheaven profile and would like to talk to you more about your touring, so call or email me this week. Over my years as an artist manager, record label marketing director, concert promoter, and now as President of Sonus, I've learned a lot about how to build a successful touring career, and I look forward to helping you build yours as well.

Best Regards,
Michael Lummus

Mark Tross says:

Hey Tim! I'm the NM State Coordinator for National Day of Prayer and just listened to your America Repent song after receiving an email from our Regional Representatives. I'm not too computer oriented, but perhaps we could either use your song at one of our events or maybe you could send me an accompaniment or maybe sheet music, chords and lyrics? I would love to hear back from you. Many Blessings,
Rev. Mark Tross

Thank you for coming back into my life. I'm enjoying "In an Instant" as I write this...As I read of you writing several songs in short order...a variation of song you'll recognize came into my head: " Quitin' time's a big Surprize...there's always one more song to get just right...there's always one more song before the night." Keep WORKING, Tim! The fruits of your labor are blessings to us all!
With love from your High School Music Teacher

Hey Tim! Thanks for your kind words...I listened to Unimagined Glory today, and WOW. It is something ya don't hear every day. I will be checking out more tunes soon! God Bless, mike, Potterz Clay PS Keep up the good work!

Becky Thomas says:

Tim! "Unimagined Glory" is quite amazing - a real throne room experience! Your creativity and your voice reminds me of David Ruis. He also has that beautiful operatic voice, but it sure hasn't stopped him from playing with all kinds of genres.............the strength of your voice could do many cross overs - keep creating and sitting in the throne room with Jesus. You take us with you!
