IndieHeaven is 100% client side, which means YOU can update your own news, bio info, calendar, upload pictures, MP3 files (add as many songs as you like! Most social networking sites limit you to 4 or 5 songs), video, sell your music (and get ALL of the money!), get bookings for shows (commission free!), get fan mail, and join a community of like minded artists who are helping one another succeed by sharing information available nowhere else on the www!

Plus, we fill orders for CD sales from our warehouse, like CD Baby (our payout is much higher, 100% vs. $4.00 per CD over on CD Baby, and there is no per CD listing fee. CD Baby charges $35 to list 1 CD per page. If you have more than one CD released, it's another $35! One of our members have 10 CD projects listed on their IH Profile! That would have cost them $350 on CD Baby just to list them!). We also have digital downloads, like i-tunes (You dont need to wait 3 months to get into i-tunes, IF you are accepted..and we pay alot more than 70 cents a song, you get 100% of the GROSS Sale!).

Best yet..No long term contracts, we are month to month folks! Join us, check us out, if you're not satisfied, you are free to go and not lose your shirt, it's not like you are buying a car, right?? Our mission hasn't changed in 10 years.. Support and empower independent artists to DO IT TOGETHER. Indie Heaven is a great place to connect with fans, consumers and promoters of Christian music, plus we know industry people stop by often to view new artists. So, if your goal is to promote your music as an indie artist, or if your goal is to get signed by a label, we are the place to be on the WWW. Our mission is to provide great services to artists enabling them to reach the world by broadening their scope of influence.

Since our opening on January 4, 2002, we are the most popular and most visited independent Christian artist community site on the WWW! We've learned that after building your field of dreams, you also need to cut the grass. We continually develop new programs and features for our members, defining our feature set by listening to their needs and servicing them like none other. We run co-op ads with our artists in major christian music magazines like CCM, Christian Music Planet, Relevant, HM, Christian Musician and Worship Musician. What's the BEST Feature on Indieheaven?
This has to be our INDIEHEAVEN NETWORK. We have artists helping one another record projects, they are sharing gigs and touring together, we are praying for one another. Our community is like none other on the internet. We genuinely care about one another!

Has anyone ever been signed to a record deal off of Indieheaven?
Yes, we've had more than a few, for some, they have pursued that path and seen success. For others, they are quite content being an indie artist. It's up to YOU what path the Lord has for you.

What is the cost to join Indieheaven?
It's really up to each member to determine their membership fee. When a new member joins us, they sign up for 1 month of service at $19.95. Every 30 days, we reconcile each member account to determine the final fee. Depending on their activity, their monthly membership will be different. We deduct sales of music, banner clickthrough income, referral income, and add premium listing fees if the member participates in our premium listing program in our search engine (you do not have to participate). Bottom line is this.. we love sending our members money!

Why aren't you free to join?
Our services and tools are well worth the membership support. Is free the best value? We used to be a free site, and we found artists did not make use of our service. When we asked for support, hundreds joined and are making use of our tools and community. Indieheaven has value to artists who understand the importance of investing in their mission and sowing into something they like and believe in. Our membership seperates serious artists from artists who are looking for free listings on social networks. Indieheaven is much more than just a listing on a site.

Think of Indieheaven as a country club for indies. We've spent alot of money creating a great club, we have the best course, mainstream or Christian, and those who join us play our course and participate in club activities. Indieheaven is a site that is on the move!

Think about your own music mission. I am sure you would like to earn an income from the time and effort you put into your mission. Some have a real hangup about anything Christian asking for payment to use a service. I ask them.. what planet are they living on? You betcha! We offer many ways for our members to earn income. We have a referral program. If you refer another artist to Indieheaven and they join us, we will drop $5.00 CASH right into your Indieheaven account right away! And, every month that member remains with us, you continue to earn $5.00 per month! You can make $60 per artist, per year! Plus, if you sell your music through us, you get 100% of the gross sale of your music! Sell a CD for $15 and get $15, sell a single for .99 and get .99!!

We also have a banner program, where artists copy and paste their custom banner code on their personal website, or other sites they may have. When people click on the banner, you make 3 or 5 cents per clickthrough depending on where you direct people to. Some artists earn free membership from placing our banners around the www! Some we send checks to! Our members can also earn a free month of membership when they review 12 other members songs, post them on our INDIEHEAVEN NETWORK in a 30 day period. Pretty cool!

Is there a long term commitment to join?
Nope, We are also a NON-EXCLUSIVE organization, meaning you can be on 100 websites if you want. But why would ya?

Do I need a CD to join?
No, you do not need a produced CD to join, our members can upload single songs, music in development, or whatever you want on your profile. You are in complete control!

Who operates Indieheaven?
We like to think the Lord runs this show. Indieheaven is owned and operated by a guy who felt the time was right to help artists wherever they are at. For more info on our Indieheaven staff, click Here. Mentor, motivate and multiply is the mission. The Indie Heaven website is the vehicle, the artists are the gas, and the Lord is the engine.

How do people preview songs?
We stream MP3 files through a custom flash player. Members can encode audio at any bit rate, but we have a 6 megabyte per song file size limit. This insures 50 megabyte .wav files are not uploaded.

Do you sell CDs for artists?
We don't like to think of artists and their music as commodities. We are partners with artists in providing a convenient way of ordering through a reputable company. We are a fulfillment center for orders that come to us via consumers we drive into the site who come in by way of promotions and word of mouth, and through our kind and loyal artists.. This is just one of many services we offer artists who join our site. Bottom line is we take care of our customers, both artists and consumers.

Do you sell singles for artists?
There's that SELL word again! With our new version, members can participate in our Digital Download Program. Surfers can purchase single songs.

How much do you charge to sell my music?
You can have as many CD projects listed on your profile for no charge. If you want to offer your single songs, there is a small $5.00 per song fee, because we must encode each song for sale to insure quality control. Sell just 5 singles, and you have recouped your cost! Remember.. YOU get 100% of the GROSS sale of your music. NO ONE else offers this to independent artists. NO ONE!

Do you stock product and how much?
We require artists to send us 5 CDs to start. We'll see how it goes the first few weeks on the site and if we need more product, you'll be notified via email. We have an excellent artist administration section that is password protected for each artist where you can keep track of your orders, payouts and much more.

When do I get paid?
If you participate in selling CD's, digital downloads, refer artists and place banners on other websites, you can earn income on Indieheaven! Every 30 days from the date you joined us, we'll reconcile your account. We start with our membership fee of $19.95 per month. If you have music sales, we'll deduct sales income from our membership fee. ie; if you have $15.00 worth of income for the month, you will only be charged $4.95 for the next 30 days, and your next due date will be 30 days later. If you have more than $19.95 in income in your account, we'll apply that to your membership and carry over the positive account balance for the next month. Your credit card is not charged for that month. Same goes for income generated from our banner program or referral income. We'll apply any income to your membership fee. Conversely, if you have bid for a Premium Listing slot in our search engines, the activity will be charged against your account. It's up to you! We pay artists when their income level reaches $25.00. We'll pay you via Paypal or send you a check. It's that easy!

How have you stayed online, non-stop for the past 10 years?
Lord knows! He always maks a way for Indieheaven to survive. When others have come and gone, Indieheaven remains. I believe He calls the equipped and equips the called. We cannot do this without artists seeing value in our mission, and having a desire to be aligned with something they believe in.
