Hey Steve, just listening to your music for the first time... Really beautiful. I, on the other hand, am a piano hack. :-) But I know it, so it's okay... One important question though: Douglas Trowbridge is really RICHARD SOUTHER??? I never knew that. Scandalous!!

Grace, peace and good vibes,
Scott

Steve,
I first heard of you at theoldschoolhousestore.com over a year ago. I didn't pick up then on the fact that y'all homeschool.

Worship is reserved for God alone, but I praise you for the worship music you share with others. Your CDs will soon find their way to a player here in our home church. I praise God for making you too. He has done a good thing in you!

Adrian Rogers used to tell Jim Whitmire, minister of music, that when they got to heaven Adrian would be in the front of the choir and Jim would be waaaay in the back. Matthew 19:30 says, "But many that are first shall be last; and the last shall be first." :oP

I suspect that you and your piano will be waaaay in the back too! Thank you for the melody you make out of the noise of this life. Your music directs my heart to listen for God's Words.

Christy, thank you for sharing your husband. As encouragment for your schooling, I recommend reading "The Baby is the Lesson" by Diane Hopkins. Congratulations on your new daughter, and your son's little sister!

Stay near the cross, y'all.

Hi Steve,

A belated welcome to IH (I don't think my original one made it!). You have a beautiful style and great artistry. God's blessings to you in your continuing ministry. (BTW, I'm from Greenville, SC -- as a girl I remember visiting Blowing Rock , and the campus of App. State. It happened to be springtime with all the flowers in bloom. I nicknamed it "bloomin' Boone".)
