It was a long fall, traveling back and forth to Denton to see my precious mom, watching her literally deteriorate before my very eyes, trying to prepare my sons for her leaving, holding out hope for a miracle, and then finally, holding her hand for her last heart beat, as God in His infinite mercy released her spirit home...

Through it all, He was simply amazing. I can now testify to the "peace that passes understanding" as I have experienced it first hand. Through dreams (6 months prior of her exact cemetery, that I had never seen, and 3 days before her death, of a newborn baby with her face), to miraculous signs in the sky...

My friends, be assured that there is nothing that will ever happen to you that He doesn't already have an answer for. Nothing surprises Him and His ways, though sometimes mysterious to us, are beautiful and bring all things together for good for those that love His Son.

Highest Blessings to you all & may your faith grow exponentially in this new season!

Godfire Enters The Recording Studio in February Subscribe To My News (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

Twang--twang--boing... pop! The sounds of Steve's favorite Ibanez Roadstar electric guitar fill the room as it is re-strung with a fresh set of D'Addario XL "environmentally friendly" guitar strings... If a guitar could talk--well--that'd be pretty creepy wouldn't it? But this one could probably spin an interesting yarn or two. Stories about Redemption. Stories about Miracles. Stories about Deliverance.

Steve's guitar cannot talk, but it can certainly sing... with a voice like an Angel. Not one of those sweet angels, mind you, but one of those "Warring Angels"--like Michael the Archangel--you know, the one who kicked Lucifer's rear-end out of Heaven. Yes, the time has come once again for those long, late-night recording sessions. Candles are lit, prayers and decrees are released, and the Spirit of God is invited to come and play thru the fingers of His servants...

God loves music. He beckons us to "sing a New Song" to Him in His Word. And hopefully, through His Divine Inspiration, Godfire will create a new musical offering that will, in some way, bring a smile to His Face...
