Wow! Much has happened since we last talked! For the last 2 years I have been a worship leader at one of the largest and fastest growing churches in SW Florida, Living Waters Church, Estero Florida, (wwwlwconline.com). God has opened up so many doors for me through this ministry and I have been completely fulfilled doing this work here. I am working with some of the most gifted and talented singers and musicians ever, and most important, I have grown both spiritually and in my calling.

I am excited to announce that we are working on a GUY FRANKLIN WORSHIP album, currently working with a team of writers to write and record a worship album by the end of 2017.

The time and energy of my Christian rock band "GUY FRANKLIN" has been redirected to fully focus on leading worship. While my music is available in most distribution networks, we continue to offer music from that project. For more information on Guy Franklin worship contact us at: guyfranklinworship@gmail.com.

Be well and God Bless!

Worship Leader-Director of Music Subscribe To My News (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

I am honored and humbled to be taking on the responsibility of Worship Leader and Director of Music at Horizons Church. I have accepted the call and opportunity to be part of an emerging, growing ministry with 4 campuses throughout the region of Northern WV, serving over 4,000 people.

My passion remains with my musical work on Tuesday and Friday nights with Celebrate Recovery. CR is a faith based recovery program and is doing amazing things in our area. God is opening doors in music ministry for me and I do not take this lightly. My touring band is important to me, but local level kingdom work is where it matters most! Rambling. Go God.

2nd place Kosciusko’s Got Talent contest Subscribe To My News (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

"Months of speculation came down to one big announcement Monday night when the top two talents of the Kosciusko's Got Talent contest were announced during the open ceremony of the Kosciusko County Community Fair. Over 35 entries were received in our talent contest, but only two emerged on top as voted on by our readers. Winning the contest, and the $1,000 prize, was Plaxton & The Void, an acoustic Indie rock group. Separated only by 15 votes, the runner-up was the Guy Franklin Band, a Christian hard rock group comprised of Frankie Gump, vocals and guitar; Kevin Kyle, lead guitars; Mario Young, bass guitar; and Brandon Bussard, drums. Kosciusko's Got Talent was made possible by our generous sponsors: Pay Pro Media, Kuert Concrete, Bishop Farms, Tom Farms, Monteith's Best One Tire, The Sleepy Owl, Louis Dreyfus Commodities, Eagle Creek Firearms & Archery, Paragon Medical and the Kosciusko County Community Fair."

Guy Franklin Drops New Album, Gears up for 2014 Subscribe To My News (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

""(The year) 2014 is where things will significantly kick up," says Frankie Gump, frontman of the Christian hard rock band, Guy Franklin. The band released its second record, "Awakening," on Aug. 27. Now it's stocking its merch table, and rehearsing to hit the road and promote the new album. "Awakening" was recorded last year at Timeline Studios in Fort Myers, Fla. Tyler Kluesner co-wrote the songs with Gump and Scott Bush produced the music. When Gump finished the record, he knew just who to call to put together a backing band: Kevin Kyle. Guy Franklin's sound appeals to both Christian and secular listeners. "We're a hard rock/metal band," says Gump. "With our music, it's a positive message. Drugs, sex and rock 'n' roll – that's not what you get from us." Gump says there's enough negativity in popular music."
