Hi everyone. Just to let you know I'm no crazier than I was when I joined, ( in my opinion.) This song was meant to shock. I think a dangerous sleep has crept into the church and too many people can not or will not discern when a wolf is in their midst. Matt. 7: 15-23 "by their fruit you shall know them". The Song, "Blessed Adversity" Subscribe To My Blog (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

This song came from experience in the life of prayer and answer. Scriptural inspiration was Proverbs 30:8-9, where Agur says, "Keep falsehood and lies far from me; give me niether poverty nor riches, give me only my daily bread. Otherwise, I may have too much and disown you and say 'Who is the Lord'.
Charles H.Spurgeon, in his, "The Treasury Of David" said, "We do not always know what we are asking for when we pray; when the answer comes, the veritable answer, it is possible that we may be terrified by it. We seek sanctification, and trial will be the reply: we ask for more faith, and more affliction is the result: we pray for the spread of the gospel, and persecution scatters us. Nevertheless, it is good to ask on, for nothing which the Lord grants in His love can do us any harm. Terrible things will turn out to be blessed things after all, when they come in answer to prayer". God Bless.
