I cant count how many times I've been asked, "what is wrong with you?"

How did I not know? simple: I thot everyone was like me and I never knew they weren't...

So, I'm learning about ADHD and all this stuff that it does and keeps you from doing and I'm thinking "Wow!"
But I never knew...
I wrote this to express somewhat what its like. Tho this is all normal to me.

I have a personal Dementor;
He's always here with me;
He steals my life and takes my hope;
He helps me feel and fail so splendidly.

He gets in my head and whispers sweetly,
"You will never amount to anything."
And While he's there he gets me ta stare;
While bouncing rubber idea balls off the walls in my head.

I wish it werent true; I wish he'd go away;
but that little dementor is here to stay.
He makes me feel stupid and worthless;
He has others fooled into thinking I'm useless!

I'm never quite sure what he will do next;
but I have no doubt it will seem out of context;
Then I have to explain what I dont understand;
I havent a clue nor have I a plan.

How this is that and to that thus I said;
"It just makes complete since when its inside of my head."
He's my personal Dementor;He's always here with me;
That little dementor is here to stay;

He's my personal Dementor;He's always here with me;
He's my personal Dementor; he's my ADHD!

There are so many things I want to say and I want to way them correctly, not to please people but so that they mean exactly what I an trying to say. A friend wrote this and I feel the same:

My hearts desire is to use every tool God has given me to change the lives of every individually I meet in my lifetime. To give them a purpose and a meaning to the life they live each day, outside of their own definition. To give them an alternative perspective on life and what it means to live. Not for the sake of happiness or their well-being, but for the sake of God's glory. To not just show people, but to teach people how to live a life that is satisfying to the one who created it all just for us. To wakeup every single day with a sense of humbleness and love that they would have never experienced before. To not take time for granted but to live each day for others. To change their surrounding environments, the people in their lives, and the way they think. Life isn't about us, it's about each other. It isn't about fulfilling the desires of success the world has put in your heart, but fulfilling the desires God gave you from the beginning. Be yourself, love one another, and most importantly... be thankful for the life you get to live each and every day. It will have imperfection and flaw, but that is what makes it so beautiful. Tell someone you love them today!

Well, I have not stopped doing shows but I am still recording and programming and writing in the studio.
I got a second job(besides musicianing) and it's ok. :)

Owensboro's Winter Wonderland opens Friday

Owensboro, Ky., opens its annual Winter Wonderland Friday morning on its riverfront.

The event, which goes through Jan. 4, includes an outdoor skating rink next to RiverPark Centre, a 35-foot Christmas tree, food concessions, carnival rides, snow slides and bunny slopes, appearances by Santa Claus and entertainment, including music and outdoor movies.

Ice skate admission is $5, including skate rental, with beginner skating at 10 a.m. Friday and Saturday and public skating at noon. There's free public skating at 5 p.m. Monday.

Santa Claus will make an appearance from 10 a.m. to noon and 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and Saturday.

Entertainment includes David Vornhagen at 6:30 p.m. Friday.

What is Christmas really about? It's about the incarnation of God to man. It's about the Love that is so extravagant that heaven could not hold it within itself. It's about the majesty of a holy God that overwhelms even heaven itself and pours itself out upon the earth into the form of a baby to live and die for the love and grace of all men.

Well, I have a schedule for this Christmas season and I have never toured before. Good thing it's really minor. It really is amazing how God works things out. I had always dreamed but I never quite tho't it would really work out and happen. Words are just not enough to describe the kindness and the richness of God's will and ways. Thanks for stopping by!
Please feel free to pray for me during this touring season as it is a little unnerving sometimes.

Being "in the Studio." It's like a conjunction of all my fears, uncertainties, inabilities and sensitivities clashing with a calling, God's enablement, some talent, alot of hard work, prayer, many tears and His confidence. I have found that this CD is not for me, I do want it to work out that it takes care of me, but it's for those that God has set aside to have it minister to them. I pray that each song will portray a new aspect of Christmas to everyone and that it will bring them closer to the real meaning of Christmas, Christ Jesus, Himself.


But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: who were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth.

Christmas CD Release prayer (Click this icon to Subscribe)

I have a tentative date for release on November 1. It's been quite a journey getting to this point. I can see God in all of it. I am praying that this CD is more than just a "Christmas CD" like all of the rest. I'm not saying it's spectacular or the end all be all of Christmas recordings. But I am praying that it changes hearts to see the truth of who Jesus really is for this world. He is not just a king; He is not just a baby; He is not just a Christmas icon: He is not just a small part of Christmas, He is the focal point of Christmas; He is the greatest Christmas Icon; He is the King, He is the babe born so that everyone may choose life.
