My Constant Subscribe To My Blog (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

Just the other day I read in a magazine, "the only thing constant in life is change."

I thought about this for a while and came to the conclusion that, though life does change rapidly, I know that my life as a believer in Christ has a constant.

My Lord Jesus does not change. He is a firm foundation in which I can stand.

I am grateful that I have a God who is always there, I am thankful that in this life I am never alone.

Can you be grateful? Do you know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? Do you trust in Him today?

Be Ready Subscribe To My Blog (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

Just posted our brand new single "Be Ready," and I wanted to tell you were it came from.

A time, not too long ago in my life, I was experiencing a drought in my walk with Christ. I was floundering. I knew I was saved, but was just kind of "going through the motions," so to speak. Then.....my Dad got sick. No, not really sick, just a passing flu. Why was this important? Because he is the Pastor of our church, and since he was unable to speak one Sunday, our Pastor of visitation filled in and spoke a sermon that I needed to hear. He spoke a message from I Thessalonians 5.

Then "Be Ready" was formed......

Read 1 Thessalonians 5.

Until next time......

A song based on Micah 6:8. My life verse. Written about 15 years ago, while I was in college. I knew what I wanted to say, I'm still struggling living it! I have to daily commit my life to Christ.

We all know what God wants from us, he wants all of us.

It's a matter of humility, to make the decision to want to live like/for Christ.

Listen to the words, and see what you think.

Verse 2 of "Pearly Whites" (Fireinyoursoul (ASCAP, 2010))

Sing aloud to, the King upon His throne,
Lift up your voice, sing praises to His name.
Believing, is walking by faith,
bowing down before God's throne of grace.

Smile, smile, smile.
Let your teeth show for awhile.
Victory will be embraced, by the smile that is on your face.
Through the change in Jesus Christ that has taken place!

Until next time....Smile at someone today!

Do you ever struggle with joy? Subscribe To My Blog (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

If you are reading this, you and I have something in common. Yes, as a Christian, I struggle with joy. I'm thankful that I am not alone in this struggle. Our gracious Lord has given us the Holy Spirit to guide us. He has given us fellow Christians to encourage us. He has given us His word to strengthen us.

The Lord has led me to a portion of scripture which has been a great source of encouragement to me lately, and I am writing this to encourage you! Please take a moment today and read Psalm 51:10-17. And then, take the time to thank the Lord for dieing so that you may live.

The next blog will feature the lyrics to the song that will lead off our second album, with this subject matter in mind. The name of the song is "Pearly Whites."

Until then....
