Will America still be a nation by the year 2030? Subscribe To My Blog (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

Look hard - long and hard....and show me one great nation that was built on the premise of absolute atheism. The Soviet Union tried that and look what happened - It lasted all of 70 years. No Nation on earth has ever been as great as the United States of America, but it is quickly on it's way down, because of all the ungodly who are tearing it apart. Men who believed in a Supreme Being made this nation great! But it will be empty soulless men and women who will make it fall. Yes....the Church of Jesus Christ on earth is made up of mortal men. Men who sometimes make mistakes, but don't let that fact make you feel comfortable. The God of the Bible knows those who are His and he's going to come back very soon in an hour you think not, and he's going to take all his true children home with him. But...those who while on earth.....refused to believe the Truth found in the bible will forever be in hell. It's not a very bright future for those folks, and sadly these are the people who are most responsible for taking America down the tubes, and indeed every great nation on earth.
Will America still be around by 2030?
Who can say? But I don't see our economy staying afloat for much longer. We can see the seams of our civilization beginning to tear even now. Recently we've seen American patriots standing their ground against government tyranny in Oregon. All that is needed for this powder keg to explode is some major disaster to bring down the house of cards that we've built for ourselves over the last 50 odd years.
Some of you will wonder why a Christian music artist would be writing about such things, and the answer is....because I'am a patriot, and I believe that for a Christian to be true salt in the earth....he must stand for something noble and speak out against the errors and against the terrors of his day. Our founding fathers spoke out against the evils of King George of England and that good King didn't do even close to half the things that our American government today is doing. King George never took prayer out of our school or told us to abort our babies. King George never pass any laws making it legal for homosexuals to marry. King George never threatened parents with jail time if they were ever caught spanking their kids.
American's fought against the evils of England for far less reason then the Americans who in Oregon are fighting against it now. Most of us will just stay seated in our Lazy boys in the comforts of our homes while things around us continue to crumble. It's sad, but true.....but no matter. When the lid pops off the bottle, and it will. This is one Jeanne we won't be putting back into the bottle. You can bank on that!!!
The dollar will go to zero and the price of my album will go overnight from just $9.77 a copy to maybe a million dollars a copy, and when we look at what happened in Zimbabwe and to their economy it's very possible this could happen. So, if I were you I would do 3 things right now to prepare for the coming collapse.

1) Get out of debt and don't buy any huge item's unless you first pray about it very very much.

2) Store up food and water - enough to last at least 3 months

3) Buy my album, "Stranded No More" Reason being that once the dollar crashes you won't be able to afford it. lol...
Just joking!
3) No.... I'd say the third thing you should be doing is continue to grow up in your faith in Christ Jesus by reading His Word everyday and by staying involved with a good bible believing church. When the blank....hits the fan - it will help much if you are connected with others of like mind and spirit. The bible says to do good unto all men but especially to those of the household of faith, so in those dark days that are coming. We are going to need each other more and more like we've never needed each other before. The days of greeting each other in our churches on Sunday morning with a glib, "Hi...how ya doing" will be gone. I wish I could say that things will get better. Maybe for a time they will here and there, but the bible says it will grow from worst to worst and as it was in the days of Sodom and Gomorrah so shall it be in the days when the Son of Man returns. How bad was it in Sodom's time? Well....read in the book of Genesis chapters 18 and 19 to find out. It wasn't a pretty sight and God judged that place and destroyed it. In the book of Jude verse 7 it says this about Sodom and Gomorrah, "They serve as an example of those who suffer the punishment of eternal fire"

Sodom was destroy as an object lesson for us today. Any government who glorifies this wicked behavior shall also be judged and will not last. It will be.....destroyed! The great Apostle Peter who is also known as the Rock.....has this to say to us in 2nd Peter Chapter 2 and verse 6, "If God condemned the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah by burning them to ashes, and made them an example of what is going to happen to the ungodly" Peter goes on, but the point here is again....God used Sodom as an example to us who are living today. Are we going to heed this warning, or are we going to sit by and watch America and the world burn?
We Christians are to be the light of the world and the salt of the world, and so I'am saying to you today who are reading this blog. I hope you will continue to shine your light and to make Christ known while you still can. Most will not listen to us, but it is not our job to make them listen, but only to tell them the truth. If we just do that....then their blood will not be on our hands. God is looking for an "End Time People" and an "End Time Church" that will stand head and shoulders above sin and above compromise. If we do this and stay true to God's Holy Word.....until the end. WE SHALL BE SAVED!!!!!!!

"Come and have Breakfast" Subscribe To My Blog (RSS)(Click this icon to Subscribe)

Yes....Jesus said to his disciples that morning, "Come and have breakfast."
In the gospel of John chapter 21 we read in verse 3 that Peter all of a sudden declared, "I'm going fishing" Now....this was rather odd, because Peter had already declared to Jesus in Matt 19: 27, "We have left everything to follow you!" They had left their boat, and nets to follow him. That is recorded in Mark 1: 16 & 17. "Come follow me, Jesus told them, and I will make you fishers of men" Verse 18 even says this, "At once they left their nets and followed him" Not only that....but verse 19 and 20 tells us that when Jesus went a little further he saw James the son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat, preparing their nets. Without delay he called them, and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired men and followed him.

Now....that we all are on the same page. Let's get this mental picture. All these four men had left their nets for good to follow Jesus. John and James even left there own Dad sitting there in the boat. "Hey Dad"....they must have called out in a hurry, "Were both sorry and all, but this man Jesus wants us to follow him. We've only know him a few minutes and we know we promised to take over your fishing business and all, but we must go. Hope to see you later..... that's about the jest of what happened the day Jesus showed up in their lives.
Well....here it is over 3 long year's later and Jesus has just been crucified on the cross. He's already shown himself twice to the disciples, and in John 20: 30 it even says Jesus performed many miraculous signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded, and so we can be sure they knew they had a high and holy calling and that the power of Christ was real, and still.....after all that....Jesus had to appear to them all again.

They still wanted to go back to fishing....so....off they all went. John 21: 2 says "Simon Peter, Thomas, Nathanael, the sons of Zebedee, and two other disciples were together. Some group hey? So in verse 3 Peter calls out..."I'm going out to fish," and they all responded, "We'll go with you." So they went out and got into the boat, but that night they caught nothing. Here we have this group of expert fishermen going into the boat, but they caught nothing. And whose boat was it? Scripture does not tell us. Was it Dad's boat, or a friends? Was it rented? Peter had already said they had given up everything to follow Christ, and here they are... all back in the boat with nets in hand.....fishing once again.
It reminds me a bit of a proverb that later on Peter himself would quote in 2nd Peter 2: 22 "Of them the proverbs are true: A dog returns to its vomit, and, and sow that is washed goes back to her wallowing in the mud."
How do you think Peter was able to write that years later on down the road? Cause he'd been there and done that! That's why!
Have we not all failed the Lord at some point in our lives? Have we not all gone back on promises made to Him? Peter and the rest left everything to follow the Lord, but in their lonely hour of despair they went back to what they knew in the beginning.
Now granted....going back to being a fisherman is not quite the same as returning to one's own vomit. You would normally not call such an act a sin, but to them it was....for they had already promised God they would never go back to their old way of life. They were called to be disciples and that is what they were....

So....these men spent the entire night out on the lake and caught nothing.....not a minnow. Then at the break of dawn a man calls out to them from the shore. The man was Jesus, but they didn't know it. Jesus asked them in John 21: 5, "Friends, haven't you any fish?" Then before an answer could be given him....Jesus called out again to them and told them, "Throw your net on the right side of the boat and you will find some." When they did as Jesus suggested they were unable to haul the net in because of the large number of fish.
Now....Jesus works in each of our lives in different ways. With these men he gave them so many fish that normally the net would have broken, but Jesus even fixed that problem for them. In verse 7 it says, "Then the disciple whom Jesus loved said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" John was the first to realize it was Jesus. He knew that things like that just don't happen. You don't fish all night long and catch nothing and then have some strange man from the shore tell you to put your net out on the other side of the boat, and bring in the biggest haul of your entire life. John knew that only Jesus could do that.
How often have we struggled in our own endeavors and never even scored once. Sometimes God will come along and give us some advice on what to do, and if we listen and obey....we are blessed for it. Sometimes we don't see a catch the next minute. Often God will take us on a journey that will last years, but we must obey and have faith, and not give up. Another thing is this. Jesus did not scold them for going fishing, even though they shouldn't have. Instead he also had some fish and even some bread by a fire on the beach when they all came ashore. Simon went back into the water and helped them drag the net ashore. It was full of large fish....153, and yes....the net never broke. Even with such a mammoth haul.

Then Jesus looked up and told them....in verse 12. "Come and have breakfast" None of them dared ask him, "Who are you?" They knew it was the Lord. Then the bible says to us that Jesus served them fish and bread. He went to each one of them and gave them something to eat, but his fish....where did they come from? and his bread....where did it come from? I doubt Jesus also put a pole or net out into the water. And it was very early in the morning. Jesus didn't buy his fish and bread. The food that Jesus served them....was his.....He made them from nothing. And that is how God works sometimes friends. We strive and strive to gain the world.....to get our big catch and all the while Jesus is sitting on the shore waiting for us with His own meal for us to eat.....to have fellowship with him.
Oh those immortal words...."Come and have breakfast" How I wish I were there that day.....that early morning just before the sun arose from his slumber. How I wish I too could have sat there on the beach and had Jesus himself serve me some fish that he alone had made and cooked on an open fire. How fortunate these men were.... Amen!

But Jesus does call us to eat of him....through the reading of His word and through the fellowship of His saints and sadly most of us never have any time to be feed of Him spiritually. We are too busy trying to get our big catch....and like the disciples that night. We too, usually catch nothing......nothing of any eternal value at least.
Well...after that breakfast and after all had eaten it says in verse 15 that Jesus asked Peter, "Simon son of John, do you truly love me more than these?" Meaning the fish.....
Yes Lord, Peter answered, "you know I love you" Jesus said, "Feed my lambs." Again Jesus said, "Simon son of John do you truly love me?" He answered Him, "Yes Lord you know that I love you." Jesus said, Take care of my sheep." The third time he said to him, "Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep." Then in verse 19 Jesus simply commands Peter once again, as at first.... "Follow Me!"

Yes....sometimes we need strong reminders to keep following the Lord, and to not give up. We need to be encouraged to stay the course, and not return to those things we once held so dear. Jesus had caught not only Peter, but also the other former fishermen red handed, and they even took along Thomas, Nathanael, and two others besides. By this time old Thomas was a believer for sure and we don't hear him speaking up or complaining during this breakfast... But it was Peter who inspired them all to go fishing and so Jesus focused on him. Peter was a man full of zeal and energy. A man who loved God very much.....for when John said to him, "It is the Lord" What did he do? He put on his outer garment and jumped into the water. He wanted to be the first ashore. I think he even momentarily forgot the biggest catch of his life. Now I've never heard of anyone putting on more clothes to go swimming, but Peter probably had his hairy chest showing while fishing that night. I'm sure he was sweaty from casting and recasting that net all night long, but when he heard that the Lord Jesus was ashore. He got dressed to meet the Lord.
When you meet the Lord friend......will you be dressed properly, or will some of your sin be showing? Jesus even eludes to this himself in Revelation 16: 15 when he says to us...."Behold, I come like a thief! Blessed is he who stays awake and keeps his clothes with him, so that he may not go naked and be shamefully exposed." We must put on the garments of praise, and the garments of holiness. We must stay spiritually awake for we do not know when the Lord will come. When Christ comes again will he find you doing something you promised Him long ago you would forsake, or will he find you about the Fathers business? Will he find you fishing your heart out....trying to catch what this world has to offer? Most who do that....find just empty promises and an empty net. Only Jesus Christ can fill our nets with good and eternal things. Jesus is calling to each one of us today. We are all his precious children, as these disciples also were, and he's saying unto each one of us. My dear sweet child..... Have you labored so long and caught nothing? - "Come... and have some breakfast."

"MY EASTER TEACHING FOR THIS YEAR"
Well...it's Easter again Folks, and I thought I'd share a quick something from the Bible with you. In John chapter 20 verse 1 we read this. "Early on Sunday morning, while it was still dark, Mary Magdalene came to the tomb and found that the stone had been rolled away from the entrance. I just wanted to share a couple points about this one verse. First...the bible says that it was still dark outside, and it was early in the morning. Now... I don't know about you, but I don't like to get up early...especially when the stars are still shining, but that's what Mary did. She got up early to go meet the Lord. Why do you suppose she was out walking around at 3 or 4 in the morning? But even though she was very early...still the tomb was empty! Remember reading elsewhere that the bright star guided the 3 wise men to where Jesus was born. The night time showed the way to the Savior of the world, and here...it was in the night that Jesus rose again! He rose...while it was still dark outside! He rose even before Mary could get there! This beloved Mary...whom Jesus had driven out not one or two, but seven demons from her. This is the Mary who had a brother named Lazarus whom Jesus raised up from the dead after he was in the grave for 4 full days. In John 11: 2 the bible also tells us that this was the same Mary who poured the expensive perfume on the Lord's feet and wiped them with her hair. The entire house was filled with the beautiful fragrance. When Judas questioned Jesus about why this perfume was not sold and the money given to the poor, but really his motive was to spend the money on himself.Jesus said to Judas and the others there in John 12:7 "Leave her alone. It was intended, that she should save this perfume for the day of my burial. You will always have the poor among you, but you will not always have me." Now...this is something golden here folks. Jesus said of this woman. Her perfume is intended for the day of my burial. You see...she was sort of priming the pump. Anointing the Lord for his burial. The perfume was worth a years wages. This same Mary whom Jesus said loved her much, because she was forgiven much...this Mary used this same perfume to cover his body with once he had died on the cross and was taken down. This same Mary was with Mary the mother of Jesus as they stood before the cross watching him die. This Mary...who thought it was better to sit as Jesus feet and hear his words...rather then to help her sister Martha in the kitchen...This dear dear Mary...is the one person chosen throughout the world - to be the one who would find the empty tomb....and it was night! It was night in the middle of the day...when Jesus died and gave up His Spirit, and it was night: perhaps just after midnight when he rose again from the dead. I have a song on my upcoming album called, "Dark Days are Coming" You see...the world is getting darker and darker every single day. The powers of satan are increasing and people everywhere are blinded by the powers of this evil and dark age. Jesus was born in the dark...he died in the dark....he rose in the dark....and it will be a truly dark, Dark, DARK World when He returns. That is why Jesus said there were 10 virgins and only the five who had oil in their lamps would be saved...for they were waiting for their bridegroom in the dark, but they themselves were not in the dark. Don't be in the dark my friends. Live in the light. Jesus is the light of this world and we are to be children of Light...Amen! Our Lords return is now very near. Proverbs says, "The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom" Be wise.....have your lamps lit, and be in the light...when the Lord returns to our Dark...DARK....World!!!
