Dearest Friends far and near

I pray this letter finds you well and eagerly anticipating the fresh oportunities that 2010 will bring!

2009, it has to be said has been the year of joy and surprises. We finished 2008 with the last date of the From Hull with Love Tour in Huddersfield UK where we were delighted to lead a number of people to the Lord! Little did we know that God was setting a precedence that evening for the year of 2009.

It has been an amazing year of stepping into the destiny that God has been building and strengthening us for. We've been part of our congregation's pastor team for the last 18 months and in October Nigel and I were asked to pastor one of three new congregations planted out in the Hull area.

We never in our wildest dreams imagined that God would have us doing this but our congregation is growing and we are loving watching Jesus transform the lives of all generations. It's not without it's challenges but then, nothing worth while ever is!

On a family front our children continue to bring us great Joy (and sometimes worry!) Our eldest Tim, fled the nest earlier on this year and to say the house is a little quiet would be an understatement however when he comes home to visit it's a pleasure to see the young man that he's become! Our daughter Anna finished school and is studying A levels at the local college! We're in new days and I have to say I like having grown up children!

August saw me celebrating the big 50 and Nigel surviving me reaching such a milestone! 50 is great! There comes with it an appreciation of God's awesome faithfulness but also a liberation of knowing I've survived the tough times and seen some awesome things in the past 50 years and that there is so much more to see in the next 50!

In September we prayed for an exit strategy from Nigel's job as he'd been travelling frequently and working 65+ hours a week! In October he was made redundant! Now we trust! We know we can't pray like that and then not trust when the answer comes! We have peace and Nigel is actively seeking work but also enjoying time being the pastor that he's called to be!

We've travelled a bit this year the highlight being a trip to my home town of Ossett in West Yorkshire to lead an evening of prophetic worship. We were in the church I was christened in as a baby. It was an amazing night with people healed from depression and various other illnesses plus a number of lives born again into the Kingdom! Not to mention educating the band's palate to the delights of Yorkshire Fish n Chips afterwards!

We've seen much fruit and healing as we've taken what God has put into our hands and ministered in the various places. We are grateful to Him for choosing us to partner with Him in His plans for this nation!

We've never known a year like it and yet sense that 2010 is going to be even more amazing!

We thank you for your friendship and prayers and pray God blesses you abundantly and that 2010 brings the things you dream of into reality!
