Mission Statement

"taking worship to the nations" This is the call of God upon the life and ministry of Joey Nicholson, minister, worship leader, recording artist, and songwriter from Gainesville, Ga.


Bio

Accomplished musician, songwriter, and recording artist, Joey Nicholson, gives us anointed music that is being used to bless and encourage congregations both around the U.S. and abroad. Being an ordained minister, worship leader, missionary and recording artist gives Joey various opportunities to minister to diverse groups of people.



Joey's ministry includes concerts, youth events, mission trips and evangelistic crusades. Because of his heart for worship, Joey's "specialty" is leading worship services through his passionate and intimate worship.



In July of 2000, Joey released his acoustic worship CD

"I Know You Will", which has been called "anointed" by Worship Leader magazine.(Fall 2001) Several of the songs from this CD are receiving radio airplay worldwide and being sung in churches even in remote areas, such as Kenya and Nigeria. Joey has also recorded the title track into a Spanish single, "Rodeame", and he has been the special guest on a live recording for Grace Ministry Center in Cleveland, Ga.



Joey is a professional member of the Gospel Music Association(GMA), a member of the American Society of Composers, Authors, and Publishers(ASCAP), and is an alumni of the Michael Smith School for Artist Management in Nashville, Tn.



Joey also endorses Takamine guitars, of which his instrument of choice is the Takamine 12-string ST-212.



In April 2005, Joey received the Male Vocalist of the Year Award at the 2005 KCCM Awards show in Kansas City.



His song, " I Glorify The Name", also won an Honor Award in the 2004 Great American Song Contest, and another Honor Award in the 2006 CCMNI Songwriting Contest.
