Mission Statement

Isaiah 61:1
"The Spirit of the Sovereign LORD is on me, because the LORD has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners."

Only Christ could perfectly fulfill this mission, yet He has called us to do the same. Every event in our lives has a purpose and will not be wasted. My prayer is that each moment of pain will be poured out as a fragrant perfume for God's glory and your comfort.

Bio

Writing from the blessings and trials from the pages of her own life, Denise wants to share the amazing victory and grace of God in the midst of pain. Her ministry began when God placed a song on her heart during the 9/11 tragedy, which received airplay and an all-day feature in LA, NY and airplay on WJTL in PA. Sharing at that time through concerts, women's conferences and retreats about God's comfort in the midst of medical challenges she was facing laid a groundwork for the ministry today.

Almost seven years ago Denise's life and ministry were changed dramatically when the abuses committed by a family member were revealed. The devastation, prolonged court battle and suffering for five years have shaped a new message and song. Out of the crucible came something beautiful. During that painful season, Denise set aside music tours and quietly served on worship teams, occasionally ministering outside of her church. But songs and a burden to help others in similar predicaments were stirring in her heart . . .

Today God has made all things new and provided a kinsman redeemer for Denise and her five children who have come alongside to minister with Denise. With radio play in eleven states (2007), Indie Album of the year ("Praying for You" - Musiq4Life - 2006), and 1st place in the Christian Contemporary category on the international TV show, "An Evening with Champions" (IMMA-2007) as her foundation, God is not through with Denise and her story yet. Look for new music and writings to encourage your soul and show that God can truly make beauty from ashes.
