The Details
1- INDIESONG OF THE YEAR CONTEST runs from December 1, 2012 to January 1, 2014
2- INDIESONG OF THE YEAR CONTEST is open ONLY to Touring Pro and Sold-Out Arena members of Indieheaven! Not a member yet??? SIGNUP HERE
3- New for this year, the INDIESONG OF THE YEAR CONTEST is based on fan voting AND critical review from our panel of song expert judges.
4- INDIESONG OF THE YEAR CONTEST is open to ALL GENRES and ALL SONGS.
Here's How It Works
The Top 3 ranked songs on Indieheaven's FANFAVES CHART at 12:01am the first of each month (starting January 1, 2013) will be added to the semi-final list, along with 2 songs selected by Indieheaven staff, based on song quality. All Semi-Final songs will be posted on a special page on Indieheaven December 1, 2013 to be listened to and voted on for 30 days. The top 5 rated songs and 5 songs selected by Indieheaven staff will then be reviewed by a large panel of judges and a grand prize winner selected and announced February 1, 2014.
TOTAL PRIZE PACKAGE:- $500 CASH
- A single song publishing contract.
- 1 year membership on Indieheaven
- 1 hour consult with Sue Ross-Mohr from The Inner Vizion
- 1 week as our featured member of Indieheaven.
- Press release and publicity!
- 2 Passes to the Christian Musician Summit Courtesy of CMS Productions
- 2 Passes to the Songwriter Bootcamp Courtesy of CMS Productions
HOW TO SUBMIT:
- Join Indieheaven Today!
- Upload your song to the Indieheaven FANFAVES CHART chart.
- Songs MUST be added to FANFAVES CHART to be entered in the contest!
- As many songs as you want can be submitted during the contest, however only 1 song from a member can be on the chart at any given time. Song can be deleted at any time and a new song added.
FINE DETAILS:
- Newly added songs start at the bottom of the FANFAVES CHART and must work their way up.
- Song stays on the chart a total of 30 days from submission and is then automatically removed.
- Fans can vote for a song 1 time per 24 hour period after they cast their vote. No voting over and over again will be counted.
- Song must be listened to in its entirety for the vote to count.
